At Mother Bloom Botanicals, we specialize in growing the highest quality herbs possible. Our herbs are grown without the use of chemicals or fertilizers. Though we are not currently certified organic, our practices exceed the organic standards. We grow, cultivate and harvest on a small scale. The herbs are planted, cultivated and harvested by hand, preserving the integrity of each flower, herb and root. Each species is harvested at its optimal time when the medicinal action is at its best. When wildcrafting, we take into consideration the abundance of the plant, the number of years it takes before harvest is possible and the future of the plant in relation to its habitat (or lake there of). It is very important to us that the populations of the species is well maintained. Fresh herbs are shipped immediately after harvest. Our dried herbs are dehydrated under 110 degrees to preserve the constituents of the plants. Because our herbs are harvested by hand, there is virtually no contaminants such as insects, other plants etc. in the final product.
